Night Nanny

How it works

Two sides, one marketplace

Families search for free, and night nannies set their own hourly rates and keep every dollar of them — which is the whole reason a night here costs what she asks rather than what an agency would add to it. FindNightNanny helps families and caregivers find and message each other. You choose, interview, hire and pay the caregiver yourself.

If you need overnight care

  1. Search caregivers

Enter a postal code, ZIP or city. Every profile carries the hourly rate she set (or says it's on request), up front, before you click anything — and browsing costs nothing at all.

  2. Compare profiles & rates

Rates, years of experience, the nights she covers and the hours she works them, and what she says about her own training — side by side, on the cards, before you speak to anybody.

  3. Message & interview

Message anyone directly and ask whatever you need to: her experience, her hours, who she has worked for — it is where your own checking starts. Starting a conversation takes a family membership, a trial or a free pass.

  4. Arrange care directly

You hire and pay her yourself, at a rate the two of you settle between you. Night Nanny is not an agency, is not a party to what you agree, and takes no share of it. When the care has happened, you can each leave a review — and only then.

If you offer overnight care

  1. Tell families about your work

A few minutes of questions: where you work, which nights, your experience and what you charge.

  2. Finish your listing

Add the hours you work overnight and a photo. Once your email is confirmed, families can find you — there is no approval step and nobody has to look at it first.

  3. Say what you can back up

List your training and certificates in your own words. Night Nanny does not check them and says so on your profile, so families ask to see them — have the paperwork ready and bring it to the interview.

  4. Families find you

Parents search by area and message you directly. You agree the fee with them; Night Nanny takes no cut of it.

A family pays Night Nanny for a family membership, monthly, to contact night nannies — or has a trial or a free pass instead. Night nannies use everything free; Featured, which lists a profile ahead of the others, is optional.

FindNightNanny does not conduct identity verification, criminal background checks, reference checks, credential verification, or any other screening of caregivers. What that means for you.
